Magnetic Particle Inspection – MPI
The Non Destructive Testing through magnetic particles allows to survey with high definition any kind of discontinuity in ferromagnetic materials, also if such discontinuity is not opened on the surface but just next to it. MPI is based on the attraction of ferromagnetic particles from a magnetic field dispersed near possible discontinuities on the part under inspection.
